Part of my Hormone Friendly Series, this 40-minute low impact cardio and weights workout is designed to build strength, sculpt lean muscle and burn calories without excessive intensity or cortisol-spiking exercise.

The workout begins with 10 minutes of fun, equipment-free cardio to gently elevate the heart rate and prepare the body for strength training. The movements are easy to follow, low impact and designed to keep you in a steady fat-burning zone without jumping.

You'll then move into a 30-minute total body dumbbell workout using moderate weights and creative compound exercises performed both standing and on the mat.
