Push your limits with this 60-minute advanced total body endurance cardio sculpt workout designed to build strength, stamina, mobility and mental grit — using no equipment.
This steady-burn session begins with a 10-minute cardio sculpt warm-up to elevate the heart rate and prepare the body. The workout then flows into a demanding endurance-style training segment featuring functional, full-body combination exercises, frequent up-and-down transitions and inverted movements that fatigue the muscles through high repetitions and sustained effort.
In the second half, you’ll move to the mat for classic leg raise and abdominal variations to fully challenge the core and lower body. The workout finishes with a lengthening stretch to restore mobility and release tight muscles after this long, intense session.
This is an advanced workout and a genuine reflection of how I personally train. Perfect for experienced exercisers who enjoy steady-burn intensity, functional movement and long, no-frills workouts without equipment.
What is Barlates Body Blitz: Barlates is a fusion style workout that borrows from pilates, barre, ballet, yoga and more traditional cardio and toning. The idea was to create a workout, which flows seamlessly from one move into the next using the principles of isotension and high repetitions to build long, lean muscles. By using a lighter weight with high repetitions the exercises are designed to target all of those underused smaller muscle groups resulting in a defined, lengthened dancer's physique. This is a real girls workout in the sense that it is fun and feminine, but don't get me wrong it is still super intense with a big burn factor! The workouts are designed to be mixed and matched with an array of 20-30 minute upper body, lower body, abdominal and total body workouts that can be strung together for a longer session or done individually if you are short on time.
