The workout begins with a 15-minute cardio sculpt warm-up using a single sliding disc to activate the legs while engaging the arms and core. Flowing, joint-friendly movements help increase circulation, burn calories and prepare the body for strength work.

Next, you’ll move into 15 minutes of heavier lower-body strength training using dumbbells (7kg / 15lb used). This section focuses on glutes, hamstrings and thighs with a variety of deadlift variations, squats and lunges designed to build strength and shape the lower body.

The final phase takes you to the mat for resistance band sculpting, targeting the thighs and glutes in side-lying, all-fours and back-lying positions. The workout finishes with a lengthening stretch to release tight muscles and support recovery.

What is Barlates Body Blitz: Barlates is a fusion style workout that borrows from pilates, barre, ballet, yoga and more traditional cardio and toning.
