Unfortunately there is no miracle cure to spot reducing on your belly! Everyone has great abs, some of us just have a large layer of fat covering them!
Interval training is one of the best ways to lose fat fast. Interval training includes a high intensity cardio segment followed by an active recovery strength training segment. If you aren't very familiar with these terms you could start out by buying a few workout dvds. I have used them for around 20 years and swear by them! I find it so much easier to workout at home cause there is no excuse! I have a large selection of dvds and my preference is definitely interval training. The Firm have some great dvds as well as Cathe Friedrich and Tracy Anderson's range is also great.
Apart from that you will obviously also need to watch your diet. Calories in versus calories out is the key! If you can, get yourself a calorie counter and write down all the foods you normally eat, then work out the calorie values. You will be surprised at how many or how little calories certain foods have. You then just have to cut down on the high calorie ones and when you do eat them, make sure you do a more intense workout to compensate.
