I'm not sure how many of you will have heard of Ana Caban, but I highly recommend pretty much all of her DVDs to everybody… Out of all the Pilates DVDs I have, this is the one that is very popular with my customers, and I recommend it to people who are looking to start Pilates for the first time, or just anybody else looking for the best Pilates DVD…

The great thing about this DVD is that there are 5 workouts, one for each day of the week. The workouts are challenging, but easy enough to follow, again – even if you’re a newbie. Ana gives very clear instructions and her up-beat personality makes the time go by nice and easily. There’s a lot of core emphasis, which is of course one of the things Pilates is so famous for, and a whole bunch of Pilates moves that keep things interesting and makes it challenging enough for a real workout. There is also one segment by another instructor called Jillian Hessel, to give a bit of variety.

It’s definitely a DVD you can grow with, but there are also beginners modifications – so whether you’re just starting out, or more intermediate to advanced, it’s just a fantastic overall workout, and we think a good to great Pilates experience.

I love pilates and find this mix fantastic- you can choose a workout you like- morning or pm. The cardio one is great as are the others. You get a great work out in 25-30 minutes. Highly recommend this. Have tried other pilates videos, but this really stands out, if you enjoy pilates, and are home wishing you were doing a pilates class- this will fit the bill and really make you happy you ordered it…Pikake Flower
